Two owners in their second year. One took over one of the winningest franchises in league history while the other took over a storied franchise which had fallen into benign neglect. And here they are playing for the title.

Let's start with the Eagles. QB Jared Goof was purchased in the '23 auction and extended this season. This after the prior owner acquired him in a trade with the Wizards. The ground game was headed up by Zack Charbonnet, the franchises '23 first round pick. He was paired with Chubba Hubbard who SOMEHOW was a $1 auction purchase . He was a first day bid and so slid by but was a GREAT get. Originally signed by the Spartans he was signed in the '23 auction for $29, allowed to test free agency again and signed for a mere buck. Pass catchers led by A J Brown, an 2023 auction purchase who was extended. D J Moore came over in an early October trade with the Woozles. Moore and a 3^rd round pick for Sam Darnold. Nice deal. REC 3 is Cole Kmet picked up for cheap on te waiver wire December 5^th. Kinda surprised he was still available that late even though a TE is usually a rookie QB's best friend. Jason Myers is th franchises top kicker … also an auction purchase this season. Finally the top defense was SEA which was a $1 auction purchase. This team was DEFINATELY built by Wooz!

On the other side of the ball is the Heffalumps. Cregar ran a franchise with a two-headed QB: rookie Anthony Richardoson (pick 1.1 last year) and Russel Wilson (purchased in the auction last year.) Ground game from Joe Mixon (auction '23) and Jonathon Taylor (same) along with Tank Bigsby (second round pick '23.) Pass catchers? Ladd McConkey (first round pick this season.) Tee Higgins (auction this season.) And D-Hop (auction LAST season, then extended.) Kicker is Boswell – '23 auction purchase, extended. Both defenses cost them points and both acquired by trade. Not worth mentioning.

Opening line was even but it's been bet up to Lumps – 4 ½. O/U is 56 ½.
